Commitment to Green

We are located in just under 2,200 square feet of space at Oxford Plaza, a “Build it Green” mixed-use development of residential, commercial, and parking space. We were excited to find this new building without any construction in the commercial space, so we didn’t have to do any demolition.  No demolition means no new waste in landfills from our build-out.  On average, 8,000 lbs of waste are thrown into landfills during the remodel of a 2,000 square foot space.

We also worked hard to continue the developer’s commitment to green building materials and energy efficient systems.  Our studio was constructed with eco-friendly bamboo flooring. We incorporated an energy efficient heating system and used no- VOC (volatile organic compound) paint on the walls.
